Repeat Prescriptions

Patients needing regular medication will either be given these at their review appointment with their doctor, or will be provided with a repeat prescription computer print out slip.  This slip list includes the medication, dosage and quantity.  It may also provide information messages.  The system allows patients to obtain a repeat of their medication without seeing the doctor every time.

The request slip must be handed in, posted in the box in the surgery, or posted to the surgery a few days before your medication runs out.  We ask that patients do not fax request prescriptions.

Your prescription will normally be ready:
    2 working days later if collected from the surgery
    3 working days later if collected from one of the chemists named on the slip

 WE CANNOT ACCEPT REQUESTS FOR REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS OVER THE TELEPHONE.

Test Results

Please allow 7 working days before you ring for your test results.  X-ray results take 10 days.  Please telephone between 11:00am - 4:30pm for your results.
